This week, Room 1 headed out for an exciting sailing experience! Students showed incredible teamwork, resilience, and courage as they learned how to rig the boats, steer, and work with the wind.
There were moments of challenge, but everyone demonstrated Kotahitanga (working together) and Manaakitanga (supporting others) on the water.
We are so proud of the way our students stepped outside their comfort zones and embraced the learning experience. What a day of Discovery!
So proud of our teams!
Both teams finished 3rd overall, which is an awesome achievement 👏
The effort, teamwork, and positive attitude shown throughout the tournament was outstanding. You all represented the school with pride and showed great sportsmanship.
A special shoutout to our Room 1 students — Diamond, Grace, Tiarrah-Leigh, Tusiga, and Sanilivi — for your hard work and commitment on the field 💪
Well done team!
