Kia ora! Take a look at the AWesome learning happening in Room 3

Kia ora, welcome to Room 3!

We have officially been at school for four weeks, and what a fantastic start we have had!

Week 1:
We spent time getting to know each other and sharing the things we like and enjoy. It was wonderful learning about our classmates and building new friendships.

Week 2:
We explored the meaning of belonging by creating our very own class korowai. We also worked together to make a class treaty, which we all proudly signed. Ka rawe, Room 3!

Week 3:
We talked about whānau and what makes us feel like we belong here at Te Mātauranga. There were some beautiful ideas shared about kindness, whanau and sharing why we are special and unique. 

Week 4:
We continued learning about belonging and also explored Chinese New Year. We enjoyed creating our own colourful lanterns and learning about this special celebration.

We are so proud of the learning, teamwork, and respect Room 3 has shown already. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the term brings!
